Dental crowns in Tangier
A broken, worn or root-treated tooth regains its shape and strength. Your crown is designed digitally and made at the clinic, in the shade of your own teeth.
Protect a tooth and keep it for longer
A crown covers a weakened tooth completely: a fracture, a large cavity, wear, or a tooth weakened by root canal treatment. It restores its shape, strength and appearance. A crown is also used to replace a tooth on an implant.
The impression is taken with the intra-oral scanner, with no paste. Your crown is then designed with CAD/CAM and made at the clinic, in ceramic or zirconia depending on where the tooth is and what you would like.
A crown that blends in with your teeth
Shade, shape and translucency are matched to your neighbouring teeth, so your crown blends in.

Frequently asked questions
When do you need a crown?
When a tooth is too damaged for a simple filling: a fracture, a large cavity, heavy wear, or a tooth weakened by root canal treatment.
Is having a crown fitted painful?
Very little: preparation is done under local anaesthesia. Mild sensitivity may last a few days, then it fades.
How long does a crown last?
With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, a crown usually lasts 10 to 15 years, often more.
Ceramic or zirconia: which should I choose?
Ceramic gives the finest result for front teeth; zirconia offers great strength for molars. We will advise you for your case.
How many appointments are needed?
Usually two: preparation and impression, then fitting of the final crown.
How much does a dental crown cost?
From 3,000 MAD. The price depends on the material and the tooth being restored; you receive it at your first consultation.
