How long does treatment take?
Usually 3 to 18 months, depending on how complex the movements are. Each set of aligners is worn for one to two weeks.
How many hours a day do I need to wear them?
About 22 hours a day. Take them out only to eat and brush your teeth.
Does it hurt?
Slight pressure is normal for the first days of each new set: it is a sign your teeth are moving. It usually fades within a day or two.
Can I drink coffee with my aligners in?
Take your aligners out before drinking coffee, tea or any hot or coloured drink, so they do not stain or warp.
Will my speech be affected?
A slight lisp can appear for a day or two while your tongue adjusts, then it disappears.
How much do clear aligners cost?
